Main responsibilities:

- Preparation of economic documentation (graphical and tabular) relating to the works carried out by suppliers/subcontractors (passive accounting) and the overall accounting of the works carried out, to be presented to the client (active accounting).

- Critical analysis of the price list items to ensure the correct execution of the works.

- Detailed calculation of the works to be carried out on the basis of the project drawings.

- Survey and measurement of the activities carried out on site for the economic quantification of the works.

- Carrying out price analyses, with evaluation of the quantities and types of materials, working hours and use of equipment required for the activities.

Requirements:

- Surveyor diploma or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 3 years' experience in the role, road and motorway infrastructure sector.

- Excellent command of job accounting software (e.g. STR, Primus), the Office package (particularly Word and Excel) and Autocad.

Main responsibilities:

• managing the list of Supplier Companies and Subcontractors;
• prepare, on the basis of the job order budget and in agreement with the Site Manager and the Job Order Planner, the Procurement Plan for supplies, subcontracts, hirings, consultancy and services;
• enter into the company ERP system, on the basis of the Procurement Plan and the reports of the Site Manager and the Site Foreman, the procurement requests (RoA) for supplies, subcontracts, hirings, consultancy and services;
• prepare, in cooperation with the Site Manager and the Site Technical Office, all the documentation necessary to initiate effective market research in compliance with the Specifications, Contract and Quality Specifications;
• follow the authorisation process of the RoA up to the issuing of the corresponding Order/Contract;
• prepare and send tender requests for purchases pertaining to the Production Unit;
• collaborate with the Headquarter Purchasing Offices to identify potential suppliers and transmit to them the necessary information (e.g. technical documentation, etc.) for the submission of offers;
• collaborating with the Head Office Purchasing Offices in the phase of examining the offers and drawing up the comparative framework in order to identify the subcontractor(s) or supplier(s) with whom to conduct the negotiation;
• prepare the Purchase Orders/Contracts for subcontracts and procurements pertaining to the Production Unit;
• collect and file all Purchase Orders/Contracts issued for the worksite;
• monitor the quantities/amounts received for each Order/Contract, reporting any overruns;
• ensure the effective management of safety-related purchases also without respecting the ‘procurement lead-time’;
• cooperate with the other functions of the worksite for all needs relating to procurement.

Requirements:

• Degree in civil/construction engineering and/or equivalent experience qualifications
• Previous experience of at least 5 years in the role
• Excellent commercial negotiation skills and goal orientation
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and market knowledge
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Willingness to work on construction sites throughout Italy
