In Condotte 1880 we are looking for a Site Accountant for an important civil construction project in the province of Milan.

Main Responsibilities:

- Define, in collaboration with the Works Management, the methods for measuring and accounting for the works.

- Collect and organise the information required for accounting for the works carried out.

- Draw up the documents relating to the SILs and verify, together with the Works Management, the documents relating to the SALs.

- File the Payment Certificates issued by the Customer, ensuring that the deadlines are met.

- Prepare the progress reports of the subcontractors.

- Analysing the price list and contractual requirements to optimise costs and revenue.

- Support the Technical Director and Project Manager in preparing documentation for possible claims.

- Draw up the necessary calculations in the event of changes or variants to the project, preparing Service Orders and Variant Appraisals.

- Collaborate with the planner in the preparation of monthly progress reports to be forwarded to the Works Management.

- Support the planning and control activities of the worksite progress.

- Prepare the job order budget and take care of its periodic updating.

- Carry out periodic checks to verify deviations between the final balance and the budget.

Requirements:

- Diploma of Surveyor or Degree in Civil Engineering.

- At least 5 years' experience in the role on large civil or industrial construction sites.

- Proficiency in compiling accounting documents according to the technical standards for tenders.

- Excellent command of job accounting software (e.g. STR, Primus), the Office package (particularly Word and Excel) and Autocad.
