End of worls

2016

Born from calculations and feasibility studies, this work today amazes and excites even us who built it, for how it manages to make us feel suspended in the void, immersed in a muffled and tiny path in the enormous agorà.

Nuvola arouses sensations, but not only that. It expresses what we, at Condotte, mean by business.
“We can talk about business as a passion for doing, working, building.” – President Duccio Astaldi explains during his speech at the inauguration ceremony – “But, in this work, the true word that represents the enterprise is believing. Believing in what we do, in what we want. Never give up.”

Nuvola, however, is not impalpable. It is made up of 86,500 m3 of concrete, 37,400 tons of steel, 31,000 m2 of glass, 450 km of electrical cables, 50 km of pipes, 25,000 m2 of travertine, 15,000 m2 of cloud tarpaulin surface, 18,000 m2 of parquet, 7,000 seats in the hall conferences, 1,760 seats in the auditorium, and much more.
